For every event we record our track progress in a GPS track log.
Files can be provided upon request.
We do this for our own records and support as well as proof if ever an incident arises, I am sure our insurance company will appreciate our attention to detail.
Experience Counts
My father has over 40 years experience in the snow removal industry working for multiple contractors and the department of highways maintaining roads.
When I was young I grew up around snow removal. Summer time I spent working on farms and eventually becoming a mechanic so heavy equipment, operation and service come naturally to me.
For the past 8 years I have been working for a municipal contractor operating heavy equipment clearing city streets and now it's time to work for myself.
About Us
Greg Barr - Owner / Operator
At 43 years of Age my wife and I have decide to make some changes. We have both been running our own businesses for a long time and have recently moved to the Kennisis Lake area of Dysart Et Al.
My in-laws summer here, and have had a cottage here since the 40's so we are not "new" to the area. We chose to move here to be closer to them year round.
QT Snow Removal is a new start up to utilize my previous experience of years of snow removal for highway, municipal and private contractors.
Operated under Quad Training Inc. Another part time business of ATV Rider Safety Training I provide.
QT Snow Removal is fully insured for Snow Removal operations.
Focusing on private driveways for residents, cottagers and private lanes there will be limited availability on clients we can accept.
This business is an owner/operator business, we do not subcontract to other companies or individuals. Allowing us to control the quality and responsibility of our work.

We have a variety of options to fit your needs.
How we price ourselves over others are as follows:
- We are Owner/Operated - No hired staff earning just a wage that doesn't care about your needs
- We provide actual snow removal with blower - not just piling it up throughout the year with a plow truck
- We use specific equipment for the best application - no just a pick up truck with a plow
- Our 4x4 tractor was specifically spec'd out for the task at hand - Small enough for driveways, large enough to get it done in a reasonable time frame
- We are not everywhere, nor do we want everyone's drive way. We have a limited range, and to do a job well we are only accepting limited clients.
- Properly insured - Insurance rates have risen driving people to do more cash jobs, we wouldn't dream about working un-protected and are happy to provide proof of insurance upon request. We still accept cash.
- Registered Business - We operate under our primary registered Canadian Incorporation and provide HST receipts

Our hourly rate is $130 / Hr.
This is includes our travel time to/from your location.
No deposit required for ONE time events.
Private Lane ways with client drives to be quoted as Custom Work.

Payment of Cash, E-mail money transfer or Bank EMT accepted. We will not process personal cheques or Credit/Debit payments
We will not register someone for snow removal without seeing their property before snow has come.
Our Specialized Equipment
From day one we recognized the need for something more than just a "pick-up" that can primarily only push snow into open areas.
We specified a large, HD tractor with a pedigree second to none that can handle all types of terrain from steep hills to narrow pathways, outfitting it with a Wing style pusher that has the ability to swing left and right, and use 2.5 foot wings on each side to expand from 8 foot to 13 foot total width, it can be operated angled fully, put into a box configuration for pushing large piles a head, or reverse box to back drag, and set up to just shy of 8" on an angle to skinny areas.
We have a 84" Snow Blower for when pushing isn't enough and that allows us to cut drifts and put the snow in the bush not just on the edge of the road.
Although Sanding is not a major service we provide, as we specialize in extreme steep hills there are areas that will require it and for this we answer the call with a 40" wide drop spreader, this allows material to be put down exactly where it's needed, not broadcast into the bush or ditches requiring a lot less material per application.
Servicing Area
As our client numbers increase, our service area decreases. We operate specialized equipment and it doesn't travel as fast, or as far as your standard pick up. We look after clients along Kennisis Lake Road from the Damn to Coleman Lake Road. If you are located on our route please feel free to contact us for a personalized Quote.
